In dem Wort Ornament h\u00f6re ich Monument, Dokument, transzendent. Ein Ornament sehe ich als eine Form der Empfindung \/ Dokumentation von Zeit und Raum.<br \/>\nEin ornamentaler Fries, der auf der Wiederholung desselben Elements beruht, ist wie ein entfalteter Film. Und ich betrachte das archaische Ornament als das allererste Video, als ein besonderes Ph\u00e4nomen, das eine eigene Bedeutung hat.<br \/>\nAuch die Landschaft ist ein Ornament. Die Landschaft ist auf einer einzigen Linie aufgebaut, der Horizontlinie.
